Merit Awards will be presented to members of the Fire Department Office for their involvement in the March 28, 2019 building fire at 170 Lakeside Road.  Merit Awards will also be presented to members of the Penn Wynne/ Overbrook Hills Fire Company, members of the Gladwyne Fire Company, and one member of the Narberth Fire Company for their contributions at the August 2, 2019 building fire at 129 David Road. 

Unit Citations will be presented to the Belmont Hills Fire Company, Bryn Mawr Fire Company, the Gladwyne Fire Company, the Merion Fire Company of Ardmore, Narberth Fire Company, the Penn Wynne/ Overbrook Hills Fire Company and the Union Fire Association of Lower Merion for their outstanding performance at the August 2, 2019 building fire at 129 David Road.

Chief’s Commendations will be presented to members of the Merion Fire Company of Ardmore and to a member of the Gladwyne Fire Company for the exceptional effort put forth during a water rescue on August 7, 2019.  The Lower Merion Police Department and Narberth Ambulance Corps will also be recognized with Chief’s Commendations for their significant assistance at the August 2, 2019 building fire at 129 David Road.

Commendations from the Board of Commissioners will be presented to Belmont Hills Fire Company, Gladwyne Fire Company and Narberth Ambulance in recognition of significant anniversaries which occurred in 2019.
