Consider for recommendation to the Board of Commissioners award of a contract for Milling and Paving of Various Township Streets to the following low bidder in accordance with bids received on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. prevailing time and the recommendation of the Chief Financial Officer with the approval of the Director of Public Works:

Funds are available through the Rotomilling and Road Reconstruction (Project #4210).  The unit cost (price per square yard) for milling and paving was $8.90 which is $0.88 or 11% more than the prior year.  The construction budget is $1.5 million.  However, the Township received utility contributions of approximately $1.1 million last year and has received $364,000 to-date in 2019 and anticipates more throughout the calendar year that will reduce the Township’s share of this CIP project’s costs.
