ITEM: CERTIFICATE OF APPROPRIATENESS - 5 West Lancaster Avenue, Ardmore, Ardmore Historic District, 19-01
Consider for approval to:
a. install signage on the Lancaster Avenue storefront consisting of illuminated channel letters and cabinet; and.
b. install signage facing the rear parking lot consisting of non illuminated flat panels which would be visible from the railroad and would replace existing signage from a previous tenant.
On January 9, 2019, the Building & Planning Committee recommended approval of the signage subject to the lighted cabinet being replaced with channel letters, with staff and a subcommittee to approve final details. Any reduction in the size of the rear signs that would be required for zoning compliance would be acceptable.
