Consider for recommendation to the Board of Commissioners authorizing the Township Secretary to advertise notice of intent to hold a public hearing and adopt an ordinance to amend the Code of the Township of Lower Merion, Chapter A180, Historic Resource Inventory, to upgrade the Bala Theatre, 163 Bala Avenue, Bala Cynwyd, from a Class II resource to a Class I resource on the Historic Resource Inventory.

On November 26, 2018, the Historical Commission recommended the upgrade of the resource, finding that it exceeds the minimum requirement by meeting criteria 1 through 4 under Category A and criteria 7 and 8 under Category B.
