ITEM:  AWARD OF CONTRACT – CONCRETE CURBS, SIDEWALKS AND RAMPS

Consider for approval award a contract for Concrete Curbs, Sidewalks and Ramps to the following bidder in accordance with the bids received on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. prevailing time and the recommendation of the Chief Financial Officer with the approval of the Director of Public Works:

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Funds are available through the Capital Projects Fund in Sidewalk Replacement (Job Number 4211).  These costs are mainly for sidewalk replacement resulting from damage caused by Township shade trees.  The Township maintains a prioritized list of locations requiring repairs and completes those repairs as funding becomes available.  The bid award is $21,042 or 23% less than the budget.
