Consider for recommendation to the Board of Commissioners award of a contract for Annual Highway Equipment Rental to the following low bidder in accordance with bids received on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. prevailing time and the recommendation of the Chief Financial Officer with the approval of the Director of Public Works:

This annual-requirements contract contains estimated use of construction equipment and number of hours; actual utilization and billing amounts will vary, depending on the Township’s needs.  Most of the costs for highway repair, reconstruction and resurfacing are budgeted through the Public Works Highway Division Operating Budget and through the Capital Projects Fund (Rotomilling and Road Reconstruction - #4210).

The Township reserves the right to extend this contract for an additional two twelve-month terms.  Cost increase/decrease for any extensions will be based on the Consumer Price Index (CPI).
