Consider for recommendation to the Board of Commissioners award of a contract for Powder Coated Galvanized Steel and Stainless Steel Traffic Poles (No Installation) to the following low bidder in accordance with bids received on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. prevailing time and the recommendation of the Chief Financial Officer with the approval of the Director of Public Works:

This is an annual contract, which contains estimated quantities; actual amounts purchased will vary, depending on the Township needs in 2019.  These estimated quantities include various size poles ranging from 15 to 35 feet and different warranty periods.  Generally, replacements are required due to vehicular accident damage and typically 100% of costs are recouped through the vehicle owners’ insurance company.  Funds are available through the Public Works Operating Budget. The bid amounts for comparable items are 8.2% lower versus the previous year’s contract.
