Consider for recommendation to the Board of Commissioners award of a contract for Township Administration Building Roof Top Unit #2 - Replacement General Contractor to the following low bidder in accordance with bids received on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. prevailing time and the recommendation of the Chief Financial Officer with the approval of the Director of Public Works and Township Engineer:

PUBLIC COMMENT
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Funds are available through the Capital Projects Fund – Facilities Improvement #4025.  The construction budget for this project, including the HVAC Contractor portion, was $300,000.  This total bid award for both the HVAC and General Contractor is $355,000 which is $55,000 or 18% more than the construction budget.  However, this combined bid is over $26,000 less than the previously rejected bids for these contracts and is within an updated/revised construction cost estimate prepared by the Township Engineer.
