Consider for recommendation to the Board of Commissioners award of a contract for Concrete Curb, Sidewalks and Ramps to the following low bidder in accordance with bids received on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. prevailing time and the recommendation of the Chief Financial Officer with the approval of the Director of Public Works:

This is an annual requirements contract which contains estimated quantities.  Funds are available primarily through the Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG) and Capital Projects Fund in Sidewalk Replacement (Job Number 4211).  These costs are mainly for sidewalk replacement resulting from damage caused by Township shade trees.  The Township maintains a prioritized list of locations requiring repairs and completes those repairs as funding becomes available.  The bid award is $17,307 more than last year due to an increase in the unit prices and a small increase in the estimated quantity of certain line items.
