The façade lettering will be illuminated by three gooseneck light fixtures. Also included in the application is a black-and-white striped awning and painting of the bricks beneath the storefront (currently painted red) to white.

On July 24, 2018, the HARB recommended approval of the application as submitted, with the following clarifications: electrical conduits should be hidden, and the gooseneck lights will project up to 20 inches, with shades having a 12-inch diameter. The recommendation is subject to zoning requirements, and cites Secretary of the Interior's Standards 2 and 9.
