Consider for recommendation to the Board of Commissioners award of a contract for Fiberglass Street Lighting Poles (No Installation) to the following low bidder in accordance with bids received on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. prevailing time and the recommendation of the Chief Financial Officer with the approval of the Director of Public Works.

This is an annual contract, which contains estimated quantities; actual amounts purchased will vary, depending on the Township’s needs in 2018.  These estimated quantities include various types of poles.  Generally, replacements are required due to vehicular accident damage and 100% of costs are recouped through the vehicle owners’ insurance company.  Funds are available through the Public Works Operating Budget.  The bid amount of $50,880.96 is $822 or 1.6% less than the bid received the previous year.
