ITEM: CERTIFICATE OF APPROPRIATENESS - 557 Barrett Avenue, Haverford, Haverford Station Historic District, 18-13
Consider for recommendation to the Board of Commissioners approval of a modification to the height of the roof on the front and side elevations, and for the approval of revisions to previously approved window replacements.
On May 1, 2018, the HARB recommended approval of the following:
1) To accept the raised roof on the front of the house, subject to the new shingles being installed to match the plane of the existing shingles;
2) To form a subcommittee to work with the contractor to assess retrofitting the windows to come into compliance with the approved windows;
3) Prior to the issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy, the applicant shall submit record drawings showing the exterior elevations as built. |
