ITEM:  CERTIFICATE OF APPROPRIATENESS - 35 East Lancaster Avenue, Ardmore, Ardmore Historic District, 17-37

Consider for approval renovation of the first floor façade of the storefront in a style matching the applicant’s other properties at 29, 31 and 33 East Lancaster Avenue.  On December 13, 2017,the Building & Planning Committee recommended approval of the removal of the pent roof, and restoration of the transom windows under it if they are present. If they are not present and have to be re-built, a subcommittee of the Historical Architectural Review Board will review and approve the design of new transoms, which should be designed to match those recently installed at 29, 31, and 33 East Lancaster Avenue.
