ITEM:  CERTIFICATE OF APPROPRIATENESS - 35 East Lancaster Avenue, Ardmore, Ardmore Historic District, 17-37

Consider for recommendation to the Board of Commissioners approval to renovate the first floor façade of the storefront in a style matching the applicant’s other properties at 29, 31 and 33 East Lancaster Avenue.

 

On December 5, 2017, HARB voted to recommend approval of the removal of the pent roof, and to restore the transom windows under it if they are present. If they are not present and have to be re-built, a subcommittee will review and approve the design of new transoms, which should be designed to match those recently installed at 29, 31, and 33 East Lancaster Avenue.
