ITEM: HISTORICAL COMMISSION - 382 Bala Avenue, Bala Cynwyd, Class 2, 2017-R-16
Consider for recommendation to the Board of Commissioners approval of a new accessible ramp on the rear of the building, replacing existing non-accessible metal stairs. On Monday, July 24, 2017 the Historical Commission recommended approval of the project as submitted, with the applicant to submit clarification on attachment details for any of the railing terminations to the existing structure, and to consider a concealed post base in lieu of the one specified, with details to be submitted to staff. If detail to existing door sills requires modification of historic fabric not shown in the submitted drawings, those details should be reviewed by staff. Applicant may return to the Commission for full review if necessary. |
