ITEM: CERTIFICATE OF APPROPRIATENESS - 915 Youngsford Road, Gladwyne, Gladwyne Historic District, Gladwyne Park, 17-16
Consider for recommendation to the Board of Commissioners a proposal to install a diesel generator on a new 10’ x 10’ concrete pad adjacent to an existing building and 180 ft.-high cell tower in Gladwyne Park. The generator would be enclosed by an 8 ft. high chain link fence with green privacy slat inserts and a locked gate. The HARB recommendation will be provided on the Final Agenda. HARB's recommendation will be subject to the Board of Commissioner's decision to approve the generator to be located in Gladwyne Park. |

On July 11, 2017 HARB recommended approval of the application, which is compliant with Standard 9, subject to approval of the generator’s installation on the park property. The bottom of the fence shall be raised to become even with the top of the generator pad in order to fully obscure the top of the generator. |
