Consider for recommendation to the Board of Commissioners a Certificate of Appropriateness to install a new sign above the transom at 59 West Lancaster Avenue, Ardmore, Ardmore Commercial Historic District, consisting of illuminated channel letters and logo atop a wood-patterned vinyl backdrop. The application also includes a rear awning similar in size and shape to the one present.  

On Tuesday, July 26, 2016, HARB recommended that the Board of Commissioners grant a Certificate of Appropriateness as submitted, subject to compliance with zoning regulations limiting the size of graphics, and based on criteria contained in the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties, 1995 STANDARDS FOR REHABILITATION criteria Nos. 9 and 10.
