1.FLOODWAY FRINGE FENCE ORDINANCE AMENDMENT

The Committee will discuss an ordinance to amend the Code of the Township of Lower Merion, Chapter 155, entitled Zoning, to amend Article XXV, General Regulations, §155 -130, Regulations of Fences and Walls by adding a new Section §155-130E to prohibit sharp projections along the top of fencing, and a new Section §155-130F to regulate fences in the floodway fringe of the Schuylkill River, and to amend Article XXVII, Floodplain District, §155 -154.1 by amending §155 -154.1F to preserve the scenic corridor along the Schuylkill River, and to amend Article XXVII, Floodplain District, §155 -157, permitted uses by amending §155-157G and adding a new Section §155-157M to allow accessory fencing for residential properties in the floodway fringe.

2.BALA VILLAGE BUILDING HEIGHT ORDINANCE AMENDMENTS

The Committee will discuss an ordinance to amend the Code of the Township of Lower Merion, Chapter 155, entitled Zoning to amend Article XXXV, City Avenue District, Bala Village §155 -219 C,  dimensional standards for development by amending §155-219 C(3) Side Yards and §155-219 C(4) Rear Yards by providing height penalties where a property with frontage along City Avenue abuts a residential use in a residential district and by amending §155-219 C(7) Building Height by reducing the building height limit along sections of City Avenue.

3.NOISE ORDINANCE AMENDMENTS

The Committee will discuss an ordinance to amend the Code of The Township of Lower Merion, Chapter 105 thereof, entitled Noise and Exterior Lighting, by deleting existing noise regulations in Article I and II in their entirety and creating a new set of noise standards.

4.NONCONFORMING USE & DIMENSIONAL ORDINANCE AMENDMENTS

The attached ordinance is for information only. The ordinance would amend the Code of the Township of Lower Merion, Chapter 155, Zoning, Article XXI, Section 99 Nonconforming Uses, by amending the Nonconforming Use requirements in Section 99 B and D, by adding a new Section 155-99.1 to provide expansion regulations for nonconforming dimensional buildings.
