Consider for recommendation to the Board of Commissioners a request to demolish the existing single family dwelling, a Class 2 resource.

On Monday, December 19, 2016 the Historical Commission recommended tabling the application based on inadequate information regarding the feasibility of alternates to the demolition of the property and proof of economic hardship to retain the existing resource in lieu of demolition. The applicant shall return with the additional materials at the next regular Historical Commission meeting. Further, the Historical Commission feels that the local significance of the property dictates this action. 

The authority to table the application due to an inadequate application is authorized under Chapter 62-3, Section 3407.3, Historic Buildings.
