Consider for recommendation to the Board of Commissioners an amendment to the design presented at the November 28, 2016 Historical Commission meeting including a modification to the proposed roof dormer on the 1928 Locker Room Building to accommodate an elevator and the height of a parapet wall on the roof the Locker Room Building to hide mechanical equipment

On Monday, December 19, 2016 the Historical Commission recommended approval of the revised screen wall on the south elevation, as detailed on page 14 of the documents dated December 7, 2016. Further, the Commission recommended approval of option #3 for the elevator over-run dormer on the north side of the Locker Room Building, which includes a standing seam metal shed roof, and a pair of double-hung aluminum windows with aluminum louvres above each window, with the color of the new windows and louvres to match the green trim color of the existing windows. The applicant shall take steps to minimize the width of the jamb, head trim and sill heights to become more sympathetic with the adjacent dormers.
