Consider for recommendation to the Board of Commissioners a request to replace the roof on the main house, which is a combination of asphalt (on the original portion) and red slate (on a later addition) with CertainTeed Landmark asphalt shingles, color to match current. 

On Monday, December 19, 2016 the Historical Commission recommended approval of the application as submitted, using CertainTeed Landmark asphalt two-layer shingle in the color designated (“Cottage Red”), with open valleys in copper and edge metal in dark brown or black, and gutters to remain.
