Consider for recommendation to the Board of Commissioners a proposal to construct paddle tennis courts and a warming hut structure in lieu of a previously approved tennis court near the southeast corner of the main historic resource, the Maybrook mansion. 

On Monday, November 28, 2016 the Historical Commission recommended approval of the amendment to the Land Development Plan for the change from tennis courts to paddle tennis courts and the adjacent warming hut, with details to be approved by the subcommittee prior to the next meeting. The Commission also recommended further review of the design of the warming hut by subcommittee, to include a minimum of three members of the Commission to review additional information and designs as submitted by the applicant prior to the next regular Historical Commission meeting. The materials should include modifications and additional notations relating to changes in the design that would add colors and materials in character with the original historic resource, which is adjacent. The applicant may return to the full Commission at their next meeting should there be any disagreement with the subcommittee. The Commission also requested information for the subcommittee relating to the final proposed size of the warming hut.
