ITEM:  CERTIFICATE OF APPROPRIATENESS - 49-51 EAST LANCASTER AVENUE, ARDMORE

Consider for recommendation to the Board of Commissioners a Certificate of Appropriateness to replace all second floor windows and cut an opening in the rear wall for the installation of one first floor window. The fenestration patterns of the second floor front windows will replicate that of the original windows at 49-51 East Lancaster Avenue, Matus Windows, Ardmore Commercial Historic District. 

 

On September 7, 2016 HARB recommended approval as submitted referencing the Secretary of the Interior’s Standard number 6. The size of the rear window opening may vary from the original submission, but shall be no larger than 60 inches wide by 48 inches high.
